Ukraine before the new year decided to change the rate of transit of Russia’s oil

Ukraine wants to change the terms of this contract under which Russia’s oil shipped in transit to Europe, ITAR-TASS. Told the representative of the Ukrainian state pipeline operator OAO Ukrtransnafta Sergei Zinkevich.

“The current contract was signed in 2004. Ukraine wants to change it” - quoted Zinkevich agency.

He stated that the discussion is about the volume of oil that Russia will be guaranteed to pump customers the EU through Ukrainian territory. He added that negotiations are ongoing.
