Rogozin: Ukraine will join NATO in the long term

Ukraine’s consent to the extension of the Black Sea Fleet in Crimea suggests that Kiev for a long time does not intend to join NATO, said Russia’s permanent representative in the alliance, Dmitry Rogozin.

“Agreement on Sevastopol - this is a statement of the fact that in the medium and even long-term Pakistan is not going to join NATO” - said Rogozin during the TV, organized by RIA Novosti.

Permanent Representative explained that “the Ukrainian public opinion is not going to NATO and that it led to Viktor Yanukovych in the presidential chair.”

Speaking of Georgia, Rogozin suggested that her prospects of joining the alliance yet.
