Russia ready to discuss the change in the price of gas for Ukraine. On Thursday said Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin after a meeting with Ukrainian counterpart Mykola Azarov.
“We agreed that we have no closed topics. It would be correct if we consider our relations in the complex. We will conduct these negotiations, and how far we come, we shall say later,” - explained to Putin.

According to Russia’s prime minister, relations in the gas sector should be constructed on the basis of clear legal principles and strict adherence to all known arrangements “to ensure the stable operation of the entire transmission system.

In turn, Azarov said that Ukraine does not consider the contract between Gazprom and Naftogaz ‘fair, but payment of the March deliveries will be made in time, ie until April 7.

“We clearly do not very fair agreement for Ukraine, because they were signed at the level of economic entities,” - said the Ukrainian prime minister.

Azarov also said that Ukraine has offered to cooperate with Russia on 12 economic projects, including nuclear energy, space and aircraft industry, which should enhance cooperation between the countries.
