Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine create joint military grouping

Poland took the initiative to create a Polish-Lithuanian-Ukrainian groups that could participate in UN peacekeeping operations, the EU and NATO, the press service of Defense Ministry of Poland. The defense ministers of Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine signed at the headquarters of NATO corresponding agreement.

His initiative Warsaw motivated by the fact that today the chances of Ukraine to join NATO - small, and created the group will bring the Ukrainian army to western standards. The headquarters of the new organization will be based in the Polish Lublin. Being created unit will consist of 4,5 thousand troops from Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine. Soldiers will occur during exercise and during the joint missions. The staffs of all three states will be in constant collaboration.
