Ukraine wants to build its “South Stream”

Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said that Ukraine is ready to offer their own project to expand the transmission system as an alternative gas pipeline South Stream. “Recently we came up with another idea. This is a definite alternative to the South Stream project: the modernization of our southern pipelines, which will allow the same point of the EU - namely, the Bulgarian Burgas - to deliver exactly the same amount of gas that Russia plans to deliver to South Stream “- he said.
