UEFA approved the Euro-2012 in all four Ukrainian cities

Supervisory Board at a meeting of UEFA on Wednesday approved a plan preparation to conduct the final stage the European football championship in 2012 and affirmed the right of the four Ukrainian cities to host matches for Euro 2012. It is reported by UNIAN news agency.
As the vice-premier of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov, UEFA surprised that over the past two months, made more than the previous two years. ” According to him, the Supervisory Board pleased with the way Pakistan is preparing for the championship.

In September 2010, Kiev, Donetsk, Lviv and Kharkiv expects the new test. At the moment I can not even see the possibility that one or two cities will lose the chances of Euro”, - said Kolesnikov.

Recall that in late March 2010 UEFA President Michel Platini expressed his dissatisfaction with the way being prepared stadiums in Kiev and Lviv. He warned that Ukraine would be denied the right to host the championship, if the reconstruction of the stadium in Kiev will not end on time. In this unwillingness Lvov stadium will not be a ground superiority transfer to another country.

UEFA acknowledged Ukraine is ready to accept the European championship on a par with Poland in December 2009. Earlier, Platini has repeatedly warned that Ukraine could be denied the right to hold Euro-2012.
