Regions Party refused to support the bill from the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc on tax holiday

People BYuT deputy Oleg Lyashko said that the new government - President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and Prime Minister Mykola Azarov - instead of tax cuts usildivaet fiscal pressure on domestic producers.

According to the press service of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc, because O. Lyashko commented on today’s rejection of the Regions Party to support the voting laws imposing tax holiday for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as a reduction of taxes on added value and profits.
“The three most important laws were not supported, and it is all the more surprising because this is what Viktor Yanukovych promised, standing for the presidency - this tax holiday, and reduced income taxes and VAT reduction,” - said Oleg Lyashko.

According to the MP, in particular, one of the bills provides for the reduction from 20% to 16% corporate profit tax that was supposed to contribute to the development of small and medium businesses. “This bill proposed to establish a number of benefits, preferences, exemptions, including tax, administrative pressure on small and medium enterprises and medium enterprises”, - said the representative of BYuT.
