Yushchenko: stockpile food and fuel Armed Forces of Ukraine would last only a few days

Ukrainian armed forces have stockpiles of food and fuel for a few days, said Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko on Friday.

“Unfortunately, I can not disclose the level of reserves for food, gasoline, jet fuel, which now has an army. But I want to say is that over the past 18 years is the lowest historical stocks of these items,” - “Yushchenko said at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

According to the head of the Ukrainian state, now the reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “is measured in days.”
