Russia could make Ukraine a loan of 5-6 billion

Credit in the amount of $ 5-6 billion could make Russia the construction of the third and fourth reactors at Khmelnitsky NPP in Ukraine. This was put in RIA Novosti, said Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin after talks with Ukrainian counterpart Mykola Azarov on Saturday.
The sides discussed issues of cooperation in nuclear energy, as well, according to Putin, “interesting proposals in the gas sphere.” “I assume that we will arrive at solutions, but they (the proposals) require elaboration,” - said the Russian prime minister, adding that “we must consider and weigh.”

In turn, Azarov voiced hope that Russia will soon decide the issue of lifting restrictions on the supply of Ukrainian pipes to the Russian market. Duty-free imports of these products in Russia was terminated from 1 April 2010 due to the lack of agreed volumes of quotas.
